Using the historic Esrum Abbey and Millyard as a set, Royal Soundscapes was an immersive theater production that used sound to tell historical stories. Actors, lights, and handouts given to visitors guided them through various sites on the historic campus.
MorrowSound built each site a multichannel narrative that told a story of early Danish royalty. Stories included rural atmospheres, early tools archaic mechanics, music and dancing, sword fights and murder, and each narrative was timed to performer actions and lighting cues.
