The project's coordinator wanted to create a self-guided walking tour that took visitors to four Old Town buildings that represented different cultural narratives of Portland's earliest immigrants.

For rich sequences of voice, folkloric music, story fragments and interjections, MorrowSound recorded actors and musicians and edited mini-scripts into dreamlike scenes. These scenes played from the facades of four historic buildings and were timed to the walking distances between sites.
