When rethinking exhibit design at the castle, curators want the castle's reopening to include media and immersive atmosphere for self-guided walking tours without any of the new tech pulling focus from the landmark's history.

In distant narratives hidden throughout the victorian prison, cell doors close in adjacent cells, prisoner footsteps echo from other floors, and men's voices are muffled by cell walls. As visitors near the prison chapel, the Lincoln Cathedral Choir (recorded in the space) invite listeners to an immersive sermon that served as an entrance experience to the Magna Carta Vault.
