The theme for Helsinki’s furniture and interior design fair, Habitare, was ’synergy’ for their 2010 conference - focusing on cooperation and community. In that spirit the Ahead! Exhibition Area was meant to serve as meeting area, where visitors might fall into conversation with one another.   

MorrowSound designed an immersive audio environment for the area that turned the 2,000 sq ft space into an idiosyncratic marketplace. The design was a mix of environmental ambience sound of shopping and exchange and hyper-located sounds that included seagulls, boat horns, kids and dogs, and a marching band.
